Geothermal Survey
Cascade Geothermal Heating and Cooling District Planning Survey
The City of Cascade received funding from the Department of Energy to conduct outreach and solicit input on a geothermal heating and cooling system for our town—a clean energy heating and cooling system that would use warm and cool water from our City’s existing geothermal wells.
Commercial and residential customers would connect to the two-pipe system using their own pipes and water source heat pumps. The City would operate and maintain this heating and cooling system in the same way that they operate and maintain City water and sewer.
This survey should take approximately five (5) minutes. We appreciate your time and input as we explore how a geothermal heating and cooling system could work in Cascade and how best to tailor the system to the needs of our town residents and businesses. Be assured, your answers are completely confidential and will be released only in summaries in which no individual’s answers can be identified. If you have any questions or comments about this study, we would be happy to talk to you.
