The City Clerk is the custodian of the City Seal and all City records. The City Clerk is responsible for the preservation of all city records, licenses, resolutions, and related documents. The Clerk City prepares and distributes City Council agendas and information packets, as well as attends City Council meetings, takes and prepares minutes. The City Clerk is responsible for maintaining and updating of City ordinances and municipal code. The City Clerk supervise the administration of dog licensing; prepares and administers licensing for liquors, catering permits, and fireworks permits; prepares, maintains, and administers Airport hangar leases, billing, and related records; and is responsible for the maintenance of accurate records on all Cemetery records; including maintaining record of plots sales, burials, lot number, etc. The City Clerk also oversees monthly water and wastewater monitoring is performed as required by regulatory agencies.
