City Treasurer

Overview

The Treasurer maintains the general ledger and manages accounts payable and payroll for all city departments.  The Treasurer  provides a monthly reporting to all city departments.  The Treasurer is responsible for the develop, implement, and administering the City’s annual budget.  The treasurer supervises cash-handling, deposits, and reconciliation functions.

The Treasurer oversees the billing of the City Utility services.  Utility Bills go out approximately the last day of each month and payments are due by the 10th of the following month.  City of Cascade accepts cash, check, and auto-pay at no additional charge.  Credit cards (Visa & MasterCard only) are accepted, a $3.50 convenience fee is charged for the use of the credit card.  Utility payments can be made online and at City Hall during business hours, or after hours in the drop box located at 105 South Main Street, Cascade, Idaho 83611.
