Overview

Note:    Effective May 10, 2021 and per Resolution No. 21-06, the City Council and Mayor will assume P&Z Commission duties as prescribed in code normally performed by the Planning and  Zoning Commission in a timely manner.

Council member duties related to Planning and Zoning applications take into consideration comprehensive planning, zoning and subdivision regulations. The Council also applies the same to the individual proposals that are brought forth. This Council acts in this statutory capacity as Planning & Zoning Commission under Resolution 21-06 and Idaho Code with respect to zoning and planning in the City. 

City of Cascade Planning & Zoning offers many services and enforces a multitude of ordinances and codes. The Planning & Zoning administers and advises on the City Code, Subdivision Regulations, Signage, Addressing, Land Use and Development Ordinance.  We offer assistance to applicants and zoning information to ensure development proposals meet applicable codes and direct the future of the community toward appropriate physical and economic growth compatible with our natural environment and the Cascade Comprehensive Plan.

The City Council Meets on the second and fourth Monday of each month at 6:00 pm at City Hall, 105 South Main Street, Cascade, Idaho. If the regularly scheduled meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting will be held the Tuesday following. Planning and Zoning application submissions will be added to an agenda in the order they are received and paid in full.
